David Strom (david (at) strom (dot) com) and Paul Gillin (paul (at) gillin (dot) com) are two long-time tech industry journalists who have run many print publications, created dozens of Web sites and written thousands of articles, white papers, and now podcasts on various technology topics. Paul’s first book was the critically acclaimed The New Influencers and his latest book is Secrets of Social Media Marketing. He also writes Newspaper Death Watch, a blog about the decline of newspapers and the reinvention of journalism that has developed a surprisingly active following.
David’s old (2001) book is called The Home Network Survival Guide and still available for the curious although outdated.
These more-or-less weekly podcasts involve discussions of old and new media technology, ways that tech PR can learn from the mistakes of others and recognize leading-edge ways to communicate using both kinds of media. We hope you enjoy them and invite you to suggest topics for us to cover.
